Ein ausserschulischer Lernort wird in Bezug auf die Schule als ein Ort ausserhalb des Klassenzimmers, der im Zusammenhang mit dem Fachunterricht steht, definiert.
Es wird analysiert, was einen guten ausserschulischen Lernort ausmacht und welche Vorbereitungen für ein lernwirksames Setting getroffen werden müssen. Als Praxisbeispiel wird eine Exkursion zur Grasburg aufgeplant.
