Das Kopfige Kreuzkraut wird auch Orangerotes Greiskraut genannt.
Das Kopfige Kreuzkraut kommt fast nur im Naturpark Gantrisch vor. Es handelt sich um eine gut erkennbare Art. Ihr Lebensraum sind alpine Kalkrasen. Noch weiss man sehr wenig über das Kopfkreuzkraut.
So fördern wir das Kopfige Kreuzkraut: Die Bestände werden regelmässig durch den Naturpark in Absprache mit dem Amt für Naturförderung überwacht. Da diese Art vor allem an schwierig zugänglichen Standorten vorkommt und da die Bestände stabil sind, sind aktuell keine weiteren spezifischen Massnahmen zum Schutz nötig.
