Die Feuerstelle liegt auf einer Höhe von 1300 m.ü.M. und ist über den Wanderweg ab Guggisberg oder Riffenmatt erreichbar. Die nächstgelegene öffentliche Verkehrshaltestelle ist etwa eine halbe Stunde entfernt.
In der Nähe der Feuerstelle stehen etwa 10 Sitzplätze zur Verfügung, jedoch sind keine überdachten Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden. Es steht Holz zur Verfügung, und ein Grillrost ist vorhanden. Die Feuerstelle ist mit dem Label « Schweizer Familie Feuerstelle » gekennzeichnet, was für ihre Qualität und Sicherheit steht.
