Vom lieblichen Schwarzsee zum Breccaschlund und in die spitze Kalklandschaft der Greyerzer Alpen, über den flachen, von Gletschern ausgehobelten Euschelspass nach Jaun ins einzige deutschsprachige Dorf des Bezirks Gruyères.
Gestartet wird die Wanderung am schönen Schwarzsee. Entlang des Seeufers lohnt sich ein gemächliches Tempo um die Natur zu geniessen. Danach führt der Weg hinauf in den von Gletschern geformten Breccaschlund.
Die Kalkfelshänge sind von Dolinen durchzogen. Das Tal, das von der Pointe de Balachaux im Westen, dem Schopfenspitz im Süden und dem Chörblispitz im Osten eingerahmt ist, bietet einen eindrucksvollen Blick auf Schwarzsee. Die Landschaft ist von alten Trockensteinmauern geprägt.
Danach geht es über einen leichten Anstieg hinauf auf den Euschelspass, der vom Chällihorn und vom Chörblispitz eingerahmt ist und einen herrlichen Blick auf die abrupten Kalkfelsen der bei Kletterern beliebten Gastlosen bietet. Nach einem kurzen Abstieg wird die Alphütte Ritzlialp erreicht. Danach geht es Weg über Weiden bis nach Jaun hinunter.
